The Shortest Day
''The Shortest Day'' ((イタリア語:Il giorno più corto)) is a 1962 Italian Comedy film. It is a parody of the war movie ''The Longest Day'' and stars the popular duo Ciccio Ingrassia and Franco Franchi in the leading roles. ==Plot==
The Sicilians Franco and Ciccio are taken from a small town in Sicily and shipped in the Italian army which has to face the Nazi troops along with U.S. allies in the famous Normandy landings. Franco and Ciccio, more clumsy than ever, having won the war back in Italy, but they are out of work.
